LAST SPIKE DRIVEN.
THE BULLER GORGE RAILWAY
(P.A.) WESTPORT, Nov. 30. The Hon. P. C. Webb arrived last evening for the ceremony on Tuesday of driving the last spike of the railway in the Buller Gorge, linking Westport with the main railway system of the South Island. The Hon. R. Semple is due tomorrow and the Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. P. Fraser), accompanied by the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, Minister of Public Works, is duo to arrive on Tuesday morning.
