LATE COMMERCIAL
TINWALD STOCK SALE. large yarding to-day. DECLINE IN PRICES. A decline in the values of fat sheep is usually expected at this time of the year, but owing to the heavy yarding at the sale at Tinwald to-day, the supply being appreciably in excess of the dentand, prices showed a sharp drop of between 5s and 6s a head, in the later stages of the sale numerous pens were passed in. Up to noon the best price was 27s 4d for a pen of four prime wethers sold 6n behalf of a client. Fat ewes ranged from Ss to 25s 7d. Fat cows sold at £5 1s 6d to £lO 10s. The principal sales were:
