DEATH OF GRAHAM.

SUCCUMBS EARLY IN MORNING EFFECT OF RIFLE SHOT. (P.A.) HOKITIKA, This Day. Stanley Graham, who was shot and captured last night at Koiterangi, died at 5.30 o’clock this moi*ning at the Westland Hospital from injuries caused by a rifle shot high up the left flank and through the abdomen. He also suffered, two septic rifle wounds. There is great relief throughout the district at the ending of the manhunt without further loss of life.

Graham was well-known in the Rakaia district, where he worked for seven or eight years some time ago.
