ATTACK ON CONVOY.
GERMANS CLAIM SINKINGS. NEW YORK, October 18. The National Broadcasting Company of New York picked up a Berlin radio communilque from the German High Command, in w'hich it was claimed that’U-boats attacked a strongly protected convoy from North America on its way to England and sank seven freighters and three tankers, totalling GO,OOO tons, and also two destroyers.
