WELLINGTON, Oct. 16. ?, A drop in revenue from £2300 to £1065, duo to a reduction of levies from clubs and a reduction of membership during the war, was announced by ;the chairman (Sir Alexander Roberts) at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Golf Association. Membership at the end of the year was: North. Island, 8882 men, 7209 women; South Island, 3820 men, 3194 women. Total, 23,105, Remits that capitation fees be abandoned for the duration of the war and that the contribution to greens research be reduced by half were both lost, and it was decided to recommend clubs to pass a resolution to alter their rules so as to adopt a clause enabling them to add to the subscriptions o! their members a sufficient sum to enable the payment of subscriptions to the association.
