WOMEN POLIC£ IN BRITAIN. ATTACHED TO WAR SERVICES (Rec. 1.45 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 16. Girls in the uniformed services who apply too much make-up for “walking out” will soon have the answer in a “lipstick patrol.” This is the unofficial title of Women police who will be attached to the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force and Auxiliary Territorial Service. The police will also watch for slovenly dressing.
