FATAL ACCIDENTS.
DROVER FALLS FROM HORSE. (P.A.) WANGANUI, September 16. Mr Harry Coe, an elderly drover, well known in the Bulls district/ was killed instantly, his neck being broken when he fell from a horse while shifting cattle. It is not known whether he suffered a seizure or the horse slipped. YOUTH KILLED BY MOTOR-CAR (P.A.) AUCKLAND, September 16.. Knocked down by a motor-car in Newton yesterday afternoon, Neile Slight, aged 16, a printer’s apprentice of Baldon road, Grey Lynn, suffered severe concussion, and died in hospital last night. The driver of the car was Constable R. Wilkes, of Kingsland police station.
