OFFICIALS ACCUSED.
REMOVAL FROM OFFICE SOUGHT WASHINGTON, September 8. The Price Controller (Mr Leon Henderson) and four of his principal subordinates were accused by Mr Martin Dies, chairman of the Committee on Un-American Activities, of harbouring Communist sympathies or affiliations. Mr Dies asked the President to remove them from office. Mr Henderson lias denied the charges.
