GROWING STRENGTH.
THE RUSSIAN AIR FORCE (Rec. 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 9. The newspaper “Pravda,” while, stressing the slogan “more bombers and more fighters,” recalls that Germany in the first week of war claimed that the Soviet air Force had been wiped out, but “Pravda declares: “The Air Force s not only alive but is growing in strength hourly. The production of planes is so well planned and types so brilliantly conceived that the man responsible has earned the admiration of the Russian people.”
