NEW TANK HEADQUARTERS. IN RECENTLY-CEDED area. ! (Rec. 1.45 p.m.) BANGKOK, Aug. 5. It is officially* announced to-day that tank headquarters for Thailand’s eastern armed forces have been established at Battambahg, which is in the eambodia area, recently ceded by IndOOiina- It is . only 35 miles from Seimroap, at wliich Japanese forces vi cl o established yesterday. Contingents 01 mechanised 'troops have already been despatched to Battambang.
