OVERWHELMINGLY IN SUPPORT. (Rec. 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 5. The India and Burma Postponement of Elections Bill , passed the second reading in the House of Lords to-day, without division. The Under Secretary of State (the Duke of Devonshire) replying to the debate, said that an overwhelming'majority of the people of India were wholeheartedly with Britain in the war effort.—British Official Wireless.
