PARTING GIFT.
A WILLOWBY PRESENTATION. A deputation representative of the residents of Willowby. consisting of Mesdames J. Patterson and R. Knox, and Messrs T. McKay and G. Chalmers, waited on Mr and Airs T. Cone at their new home in Ashburton and made a presentation of an easy chair and footstool to them as a token of esteem and remembrance and to wish them well in their retirement. Their many friends in the Willowby district decided on this method of showing ilioir appreciation of Air and Mrs Cone’s long residence in Willowby as they quietly removed to Ashburton a short time ago.
