The company' handling the cargo is not prepared to pay the rate of 4s 6d an hour claimed by the men, who did not turn-to at 8 a.m. to-day. It was then raining. An official of the company said that the men went away at 10 a.m. It was fine later in the day, and the ship could have been worked.
