STOCK FOODS.
TARANAKI AMPLY SUPPLIED (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, July 31. Amplo supplies of stock food are available in Taranaki, according to a statement to-day by the North Taranaki council for Primary Production, prompted by a notice of question by Mr C. A. Wilkinson to the Minister of Agriculture, in which he said there was no pollard, bran or stock meal available in Taranaki. The statement points out that there are ample supplies of barley meal, proprietary pig meal, barley in grain, poultry grain and poultry mashes, and adds that bran is the only commodity which is short. A substitute answers the purpose satisfactorily.
