ARGENTINE SUPPORT WITHHELD THE UNITED STATES’ BLACKLIST (Rec. 11.20 a.m.) BUENOS AIRES, Aug. 1.
Authoritative diplomatic sources said to-day that owing to legal difficulties Argentina intends to withhold support of the United States’ black list, thus creating an awkward hole in the economic dam that Washington is striving to erect- to prevent the ( flow of money and materials to the Axis. The Associated Press of America says there are more of the listed firms in Argentina than in any other part of America.
