GUILTY OF MISAPPROPRIATION INSURANCE! MANAGER’S OFFENCE TIMARU, This Day. John Joseph Graham Young, Timai’U manager of the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Mr H. Morgan, S.M., to seven charged of failing to account for money received on behalf of the Society, thereby committing theft. The total amount involved in the charges Was £486 15s 2d. The accused was committed to the Supreme Court at Christchurch for Sentence. An application for bail was refused.
