RUMOUR DENIED.
NO AMERICAN TROOPS IN EGYPT (Rec. 10.40 p.m.) LONDON, July 30. It is learned in London that there' is no truth in the rumour that nearly 20,000 American soldiers are already in Egypt. The only American service personnel in Egypt are a few observers who are there engaged in connection with deliveries of American equipment now taking place in the Middle East. —British Official Wireless.
