CRASH ON BEACH.
TWO AIRMEN SLIGHTLY INJURED (P.A.) AUCKLAND, July 20. During a training exercise from the Whonuapni air base an aeroplane crashed on the beach at Piha on Saturday afternoon. The occupants, Pilot Officer J. D. Bow and Leading-Air-craftman D. Gale, suffered very slight injuries.
The aeroplane was damaged fairly extensively.
