TRAP SHOOTING.

METHVEN GUN CLUB. A blustering north-west wind made shooting conditions anything but good for the Miethven Gun Club’s monthly shoot on Saturday, but in spite of this there were, some excellent scores. The attendance was the largest this year and the various trophies were well distributed. In a. o-bird sweepstake, for which 12 shooters competed, H. Stephens, L. C. Anderson, T. S. Harrison, W. J. Robertson, d . T.. Corbitt, and J. S. -McHugh broke possibles and divided the sweepstake. Tn the president’s handicap of 14 clay birds, with a sweepstake, G. A. Franks and J. S. McHngh broke the possible and divided first and second money. No shoot-off was necessary as the trophy is an aggregate. S. H. Anderson, A. McLeod, L. C. Anderson, T. S. Harrison and J. I'. Corbitt broke 13 clays and divided third! money. K. Ingley and W. J. Robertson broke 12.

In a 10-bird trophy match and sweepstake S. H. Anderson, T. Si. Harrison, G. A. Franks, and J. S. McHugh broke the possible and in tire shoot-off Anderson went out on the fourth round, •and Franks on the seventh. They divided first money in the sweep. Harrison went down on the eighth round and took second trophy, leaving McHugh the winner of the International Farm Service trophy. W. J. Robertson, with nine breaks, was third in the

sweepstake. McLeod, (L. C. Anderson, and Corbitt were next with eight breaks.

In a 10-bird match for a trophy, S. 11. Anderson and L. 0. Anderson broke the possible. The shoot-off went to the seventh round, when >S. H. Anderson won, L. CL Anderson taking the second trophy, also a trophy for the best first-barrel performance. W. J. Robertson, nine breaks, as well .as J. S. McHugh and K. Ingley divided first and second in the sweepstake and L. C. Anderson took third.
