ALTERATION I IN TIME OF DESPATCH. Commencing to-morrow, xnaiJs for d'cspatcli by the Steamer Express to Wellington on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, will close at Ashburton at 2.4 p.m., late fee 3.10 p.nx. and guard’s van 3.27 p.m. On; the above-mentioned days the clearance of street posting-boxes in the town area will ho made at 9 a.m., 2.30 p.m. and 4.45 p.m., and in the outer area, at 9 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. There will he no alteration in > the closing time of North Island mails on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
