WOMEN’S DIVISION.
THE ANAMA BRANCH. At the monthly meeting of the An.am a branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, hold in the Anama School, a very interesting demonstration was given on joining Peggy* squares by Miss/Goldsmith and Mrs Dunstan, of Mayfield. A motion of sympathy with Mesdamos VY. and .T. Quail took in their recent bereavement, was carried in silence. The competitions, judged by the visitors. resulted: Ginger biscuits, Mrs Bennett 1. Miss L. .Melvor 2, Mrs Ralston 3. Apples: Mrs Robertson 1, Mrs Brown 2, Mrs MacKenzin 3. Peggy Squares: Mrs Ralston 1. Miss J. Jvoy 2, Mrs MacKonzio 3.
