THE RESERVE BANK.
DEPUTY-GOVERNOR APPOINTED. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr E. C. Fussell has been appointed Deputy-Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Since its inception he was for the greater part of the time secretary of the Bank, Since April, 1939, he has been assistant-Governor. Mr Fussell has bad extensive experience overseas, especially in connection with the central banks of the world. Mr Fussell, said the Hon, Waltox Nash, is a Now Zealander, well-fitted to hold the position to which he has been appointed.
