‘'The prospective shortage of paper' supplies is causing some concern and at present wo are investigating alternative methods of keeping certain records —-particularly the consumers’ * monthly accounts —to reduce the rate of paper consumption,” reported the secretary (Mr G. A. Ammundsen) at the monthly meeting of the WanganuiRangitikei Electric Power Board. “It is with some reluctance that a change* from a proved system is contemplated, hut there are other efficient systems in use and I believe that if we can make a saving, not perhaps in caslibut in paper consumption, then the present urgency demands it,” Mr Ammundsen added.
