AUSTRALIAN PETROL.
WILL BE ON SALE SHORTLY. (United Press Association —Copyright) (Rbe. 12.5) CANBERRA; This Day. Petrol produced from shale at Glen Davis, New South Wales, will be on sale soon. Already 2,000,000 gallons have been stored, awaiting distribution. The petrol has been thoroughly tested and good results have been achieved in motor-cars.
One of those interested in the project for the production of the oil is Mr A. E. Cooper, who was manager of the Fairfield Freezing Works some 30 years ago and afterwards was a member of the firm of Sims, Cooper and Company. He has been residing in Australia for the last two years or so.
