HOME OF BLIGH OF THE BOUNTY.
SEAMEN’S HOSPITAL DAMAGED.
(Roc. 9.45 a.m.) LONDON; May 19. It is revealed that the centuries-old manor house at Farningham, in Kent, once the homo of Captain Bligh, of the Bounty, was demolished in a recent raid.
The Dreadnought Hospital for seamen, at Greenwich, which in the past has cared for thosuands of all nationalities, including 5000 Gorman seamen, was seriously damaged in another raid. Tho nurses carried out 28 patients, and had many beds available for sailors two days later.
