ACTIVITIES AT RAICAIA At a meeting of the committee of the Rakaia sub-centre of the Red Cross Society it was announced that a first-aid class of 50 members i« to be conducted by Dr. Candy, commencing on April 21. It was reported that a sewing afternoon is held every Friday afternoon at the depot, three machines being in use. Letters of thanks fojr Christmas parcels were received from soldiers overseas.
