A Cairo headquarters communique states: “In Libya, Eritrea, and Italian Somaliland there is nothing important to report. “ijn Abyssinia, in the Gojjam area, patriot forces yesterday occupied the important fort of Bpyre, and are now harassing the Italian column that is withdrawing toward Debrallarcos. In this area 1500 Italian irregulars and 200 colonial troops deserted to join the patriots..”—British Official Wireless. AIR SUPPORT FOR TROOPS. TWO PLANES NOT RETURNED.
