SOCIAL TO SOLDIERS.
TINWALD MEN ENTERTAINED The Tinwald Town Hall was packed last evening when soldiers of the district were entertained at a social and dance. Mr A. Simpson (a member of the Patriotic Committee) made presentations to Privates T. Hewson, A. Houston, N. Wilson and L. Tremain. Presentations were also made to the relatives of Sapper J. Young and Private It. Lusk, who were unable to be present. Items were contributed by Misses E. Wellman, D .Reddecliffe, Watt and Mr R. Dabourn supplied music • for the dancing.
