8.8. C. FATALITIES.
BOMBS fall on headquarters . - ft.(United Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, January 7. It is disclosed that Broadcasting House, the London headquarters of the- British Broadcasting Corporation, has been twice hit and seriously damaged- in enemy air raids. In spite of this all home and overseas services have, continued without interruption. On the first occason the bomb exploded when transmissions to Home and German listeners were in progress. Both transmissions carried on, but several members of the staff were killed. On the second occasion members of the staff and others in the building were injured. Both attacks took place at peak hours for transmission.
