A Royal Air Force Middle East communique states: Further raids were carried out at Tobruk by the Royal Air Force yesterday. Bombs fell on the foreshore and military objectives m the town, but full details of the damage’ could not be observed. “Dema and Martuba were also raided succesfully. “In the Tobruk area a CR 42 was shot down and another enemy fighter was probably destroyed, while other enemy aircraft were damaged. The enemy aerodrome for Tobruk (El Aden) has been evacuated and 40 aircraft in a damaged condition to Royal Air Force bombing have been captured by our troops. British Official Wireless.
