MISCHIEF AND THEFT.

Two boys faced several charges in the Ashburton Children’s Court this morning, before M|r H, Morgafi, S.M. The boys were charged with having smashed a gas meter, valued at £3 4s. at the Domain camping ground, and with stealing Is 4d from the meter. Che of the boys was also charged, on six counts, of having stolen money from shops, and the other was charged, on five counts, of stealing money from shops and on one charge of receiving stolen money. , . , The boys were placed under strict supervision for two yeajrs and their fathers were ordened to pay £2 2s id and £2 2s 9d respectively.
