TWO ITALIAN SHIPS HIT.
ADMISSION IN ROME. ONE CRUISER OF 10,000 TONS. (United Press Association— Copyright ) LONDON, November 28. An Italian communique dealing with the, encounter between units of the British and Italian Fleets in the Mediterranean shows that, the British Fleet’s long-range, action was not entirely ineffective. It admits that one destroyer and one cruiser were hit. The cruiser said to be hit was a 10,000ton vessel, though the Italians said the shell failed to explode. A further communique from the British Admiralty is still awaited.
