LADY.”
For the first time in an otherwise varied screen career in which he lias ridden horses, climbed mountains, flown airplanes, been shot at and done a bit of shooting himself, Gary Cooper sings. It’s for the Samuel Goldwyn production “The Cowboy and the Lady,” that Cooper first opens his mouth in song and his voice turns out to be a shade on the basso side of baritone, according to the sound department. For this initial effort at ( warbling,. Cooper has the help of others in the cast. “The Cowboy and the Lady” is released by United Artists.
