WEDDING GIFTS.
PRESENTATIONS AT METHVEN. There, was a large gathering of members and supporters of the Methven Ladies’ Hockey Club in the Town Hall to do honour to two members, Mjrs C. Watson (nee Lawson) and! Mrs C. Feeliney (neo who were married recently. The time was pleasantly spent with games and competitions. On behalf of members the president (Mrs G. Johns) made small presentations to the guests, wishing ' them a happy future. A presentation of a fireside companion was made to the president by Mrs W. J. Owem (vice-president) who expressed to Mrs Jolftis the apprecia=tion of the' committee fojr her efforts on behalf of the club. Competitions were won by Mrs V . Jewell, Miss Gwen Owen, Miss McKendrv and Mr 0. Watson.
After an enjoyable supper the evening closed with 4 ‘Auld Lang Syne.”
