WOMEN’S DIVISION.
THE WINCHMORE BRANCH. One new member was welcomed at the monthly meeting of the Winchmore branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, held in the local hall. Final arrangements were made for the branch’s Christmas hamper. Winners of tho monthly competitions were: Best lettuce, Mrs Nish; flowers, Mrs Jamieson and Mrs Nish; pikelets, Mrs Jamieson and Mrs Nish.
