It is expected that an early announcement will ho made of the formal signature of the Anglo-Spanish financial agreement, which was initialled in Madrid at the Bank ,of Spain by the Director-General of the . institute (Senor De Moneda) and a representative of the British Treasury. * It is anticipated that the British Ambassador (Sir Samuel Hoare) and the Spanish Foreign Minister (Senor Suner) will sign the agreement, which regulates payments between the sterling area and Spain, and also settles certain matters of details which have caused friction.
