BERLIN' DENIES “PEACE” MOVE.

In reply to a question in the House of Commons, Mr Winston Churchill said that the Government would reject any proposal for a period of armistice to commemorate Christmas. The German News Agency stated that the American newspaper reports of a new so-called German peace offensive were entirely without foundation.
