FARMERS’ COMPLAINT.
EARLY KILLING OF LAMBS.
(Per Press Association). MASTERTON, November 23,
Farmers who have been called upon by the Government and the Meat Producers’ Board at the commencement of the season to kill'lambs as early as possible find that through doing so they have been penalised by getting 3d per lb less for slipe wool than if the lambs were killed at a later date. They are protesting to the Government through the- Meat Board.
