MISSIONARY UNION.
HINDS PRESBYTERIAN PARTY. The monthly meeting of the Hinds Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union and Ladies’ Guild took the form of a garden, party held at the residence of Mrs L. Moore, Lynnford, on Thursday afternoon. A large number of members and friends, including members of the Flemington Union and Guild wtere present. After a short period devoted to business at which Mrs D. Mcßae presided, games and competitions were held.
Mrs G. Reddecliffe did brisk business at a sales table, and gifts were handed in for the New Hebrides mission.
A dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames L. Moore, G. Moore and H. Mclntosh.
Miss Ann Frampton proposed a cordial vote of thanks to Mrs L. Moore for throwing open her house and grounds to the meeting, and to the hostesses.
