THE MECHANICAL COMPANY. Twenty-five mein, volunteers with one exception, wore examined at the Ashburton He ft? nee Office to-day for the Mechanical Equipment Company. Eleven were passed as fit, six were classed temporarily unfit, and eight permanently unfit.
