WELLINGTON WOMEN’S TITLE. WELLINGTON, November 7. The Wellington women’s provincial golf championship tournament concluded on the Hcretaunga- links to-day in a. triumph for Mrs It. 0. Cook, who, playing sterling golf, eliminated her Wanganui Club mate, Miss Patsy Bell, 5 and 4, in the semi-final in the morning, and took the titlto by oveirwh el mi no; Miss Eileen Nutt, Christ church, in the final 6 and 5. Mrs Cook is probably the longest driver in the Dominion at present. She got prodigious distances to-day. She was out in 41 in the final. She. was 0 up on Miss Nutt, and finished the match by taking the 13th in <> to 7.
