JUDGE’S NEW SUIT.
A man’s trousers- can stand so much but can’t sit more than 96,000 minutes. This is why Lewis Stone, as Judge Hardy, wears a new suit in “Judge Hardy and Son.” The old suit, worn throughout the series, had lasted through a total of 200 days, 1600 hours, or 96,000 minutes in his scenes in the series. So a new gray suit was supplied from the wardrobe department to replace the time-honoured garb of blue serge, the trousers of which had become very shiny.
