DEATH IN COLLISION.
WIDOW AWARDED DAMAGES.
WELLINGTON, October 31
A verdict of £2250 general damages and £.53 19s special damages was awarded by a jury in a Supreme Court action in which Grace Young Wilson Duncan claimed £3OOO in respect of the death of her husband William Alexander Dickie Anderson Duncan, agt'. 43, an electrical engineer and caretaker employed by the Internal Aflairs Department at the Dominion Museum and Carillon. The defendants were Arthur Harris Wakefield, butchei, o. Wellington, and Keith Allen Morris., taxi-driver, of Masterton. Duncan was a passenger in Wakeford’s car when a collision occurred at Silverstream on July 7.
