ICEBERGS AT FRANZ JOSEF. (Per Press Association). HOKITIKA, This Day. The Franz Josef glacier terminal presents a remarkable spectacle. Breaking ice has formed a large lako where small icebergs and numerous floes are floating. The continual breaking away of huge pieces of ice creates small avalanches.
