FINAL ARRANGEMENTS. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. Final arrangements for the Ashburton Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s annual show to be held eajrly next month were discussed at a meeting of the General Committee this afternoon. Mr T. J. Bell presided. A letter was received from tlie Royal Agricultural Society regarding a public insurance policy to eovter the show, the premium to be £4 2s, up to £20,000. It" was decided not to renew the policy this year.
One new member was elected. Entries for til© show close on Tuesday next.
Members expressed appreciation of the facilities and improved atmosphere of the now rooms.
