IN RESISTANCE CAMPAIGN. GANDHI AVOIDS PRISON. (Received This Day. 1.15 p.m.) DELHI, October 14. Vonod Bhave who, it was stated yesterday, has been selected by Mr Gandhi as one of two men to carry out the passive resistance campaign, is a humble member of Gandhi’s seminary, who daily squats on the floor spinning cotton. It is thought that Nehru and Vonod 1 will be hilled to address a ,mammoth meeting in such a. manner that the Government will have no alternative hut to arrest them. Gandhi has •apparently decided to remain out of prison ini order to control the resistance movement and ensure its strict limitation.
