PETROL RATION.
AN INCREASE NEXT MONTH. v. ANNOUNCED BY CONTROLLER, (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON,, September 30. The Oil Fuel Controller (My G. L. Laurenson) announced to-night that petrol coupons numbered 10 and 11 would be available for use during October. The Minister for Supply (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) said he expected that by the end of October reserves of petrol Would hare reached an amount that would permit! an increase in the allowance to private cars. An increase would he granted foi* November.
