Miss Gwen Ross, of Riuapuna, left to-day for Y.A.T). duty at the Burwood Military Hospital.
The Rev. IT. IT. Fountain who has been appointed Vicar of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Tinwald, will arrive to-morrow He will commence duties on Sunday.
Mr Iv. 0. Stephens who has been relieving Mr A. C. Robinson (district manager <jf the Ashburton branch of the Public Trust) returned to Christchurch on his way to Wellington during the week-end.
As a tribute to the. memory of the late Rev. William Marshall, who was for many years in. charge of the Tinwald, Flemington and Lagmhor Presbyterian. Churches, the choir of 'St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church’ sang “Crossing the Bar” at the morning service yesterday.
