EFFORTS TO STOP CANTON ARMY FRENCH APPEAL TO TOKIO. (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) HANOI, September 27. It is officially, stated that the French asked Tokio to send a plenipotentiary to Indo-China to halt the Canton Army’s continued southward advance which the French Army is not opposing.
