PATRIOTIC EFFORT.
THE MAYFIELD COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Mayfield Soldiers’ Faref/ell Committee was held in the Lodge Rooms recently, when the chairman (Mr J. Blair) presided over an excellent attendance. . It was decided to act as the Patriotic Committee for the district, lint to keep separate minute books for each. It was also decided to hold a concert on October 17 for the patriotic funds. This concert is to be given by Mrs Chapman’s concert party.
